Terms & Conditions

By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page. Any updates to our terms and conditions will be posted here. If you have any questions regarding our terms and conditions, please contact us.

  1. Any materials supplied by the Company remain the property of the Company until full payment has been received. Where payment is not made, the Company reserves the right to remove or recover such materials where legally permitted.

  2. When painting or spray painting interior walls, ceilings or windows, masking tape may in some cases lift or remove existing paint from the surface to which it is applied. This is a known risk associated with masking, and no alternative method fully prevents overspray. The Company accepts no liability for damage arising from this issue.

  3. Unless otherwise stated in writing, any quoted price includes labour and materials.

  4. Some works may require additional access equipment or arrangements. This will be discussed with the Customer before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the cost of access is the Customer’s responsibility.

  5. The Company cannot guarantee paint applied to silicone, sealant or gaskets, as peeling or cracking may occur. Where appropriate, re-sealing may be recommended once the work is complete. The Company accepts no liability for failure of paint on these surfaces.

  6. All colours and gloss levels selected are the responsibility of the Customer and must be confirmed before work begins. Advice can be provided if requested, but the final choice remains the Customer’s responsibility. Please note that colours and shades may appear different online and should always be checked against a physical swatch or sample.

  7. Access to the property or work area is the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of quotation.

  8. The Company can only guarantee coatings and materials applied by the Company. No guarantee can be given in relation to old or existing paintwork that has not been removed before new coatings are applied. Prices for removing old paint can be discussed at quotation stage.

  9. A 5-year guarantee is provided on residential and commercial properties. This guarantee covers peeling and cracking only. It does not cover fair wear and tear, scratches, chips, stains or accidental damage. Painted surfaces should be cleaned only with a damp cloth and without chemical cleaning products.

  10. Available gloss levels range from matt to full gloss. Customers should be aware that lower sheen finishes, such as matt and satin, may mark more easily and can be more difficult to clean, particularly on high-use surfaces such as kitchens. Higher gloss levels generally provide greater durability.

A protective lacquer may be available on request. The Company accepts no liability for stains or marks that cannot be removed from lower sheen finishes.

  11. Residential works are strictly payable on completion.

Commercial and industrial works are payable within 14 days of the invoice date only where 14-day terms have been agreed at the time of booking. Otherwise, payment is due on completion.

Accepted payment methods include BACS, cash and credit or debit card, subject to any stated payment limits.

  12. Health and safety policy documents are available on request. Risk assessments and method statements will be provided where required, including where purchase order procedures apply. All operatives are covered by relevant insurance policies.

  13. Any complaint or claim must be made in writing within 48 hours of the issue arising. If an investigation shows that the issue did not result from the Company’s work or operatives, the Company reserves the right to charge a call-out fee of £100.00 plus VAT to cover time and expenses.

  14. The Company may collect personal data including name, address, telephone number and email address for the purpose of providing services and communicating with the Customer. This information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be sold or passed to third parties except where required for the provision of the service or by law.

  15. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure suitable parking and site access are available for the Company’s vehicles and operatives, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company reserves the right to charge for wasted time where work cannot proceed due to lack of access or parking.

  16. A satisfaction sign-off sheet will be provided at the end of each job. If the Customer is not present or the sign-off sheet is not signed on completion, the Company may treat this as confirmation that the works have been completed to the Customer’s satisfaction.

Customers must inspect all works carefully before signing, as concerns raised after sign-off may not be accepted.

  17. Any items left at the Company’s premises for off-site works remain at the Customer’s risk. The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

  18. All items must be paid for in full before collection or removal.

  19. Customers are responsible for bringing suitable protection for items during transport and collection. The Company accepts no responsibility for damage occurring once items leave the premises.

  20. Customers must collect items on the agreed completion date. Storage charges of £20.00 per day may apply to items not collected as agreed.

  21. Customers must ensure they are satisfied with the colour, finish and workmanship before removing any items from the Company’s premises. Once items have been removed, the Company accepts no responsibility for issues raised afterwards, unless otherwise required by law.

  22. The Company accepts no liability for leaks or internal faults in radiators or similar items supplied for painting, as these cannot always be identified before work begins.

  23. Any items brought to the Company for off-site works may be inspected for visible damage before work starts. No work will proceed until the Customer has authorised it where pre-existing damage is identified. This does not include internal faults such as leaks or hidden defects.
